Indicating an account for depositing contributions to a fund established for investment purposes
As of 1 January 2021 corporate clients who run a company (either a company with limited liability or a joint-stock company) can indicate one of their existing auxiliary accounts OR open a new auxiliary account for the purposes of establishing a special investment fund, provided that they meet specific conditions set forth in the regulations.
If a corporate client wishes to deposit funds equivalent to the amount of provision for the fund established for investment purposes (to a specifically indicated account held at the Bank), they should notify this to the Bank. This can be done via CitiPhone or at a Branch by instructing the Bank to open a new, dedicated auxiliary account or indicating one of the already existing accounts.
We recommend that clients change the name of such an account in CBOL.
After logging in go to the accounts section,
Select the option: Manage settings,
And then: Change the account name.
